Winter chicken salad with water kefir sauce

Salads with quality ingredients can easily become a complete meal.

Add sauce with water kefir to salad and you’ll get extra good bacteria.

This time I combined chicken tights fillet and orange sauce.

Ingredients and preparation steps

  • 1 package of chicken tights fillet Međimursko pile
  • 1 lettuce head
  • 1 avocado
  • 1 orange
  • ground smoked paprika
  • salt
  • baking oil
  • handful of almonds

For the sauce:

  • 1 orange
  • 2 tablespoons of almond butter
  • 2 tablespoons of water kefir
  • 1 tablespoon of soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of soy vinegar
  • a pinch of salt

  1. Make the sauce first. Add all sauce ingredients into blender and blend into a creamy mixture. Try a little to add more salt as needed.
  2. Wash lettuce and cut into smaller pieces.
  3. Peel the orange, cut the avocado into small pieces.
  4. Chop the almonds.
  5. Wash the fillets, dry them with a paper towel, add salt and paprika and fry.
  6. Add lettuce, fried fillets, orange and avocado in a bowl. Pour the sauce over everything and add chopped almonds.
