Wine desserts for Valentine’s Day

I rearranged my document and photo folders and came across unpublished photos.
I present to you two wine desserts for this year Valentine’s Day.

Wine jelly hearts

Ingredients and preparation steps

  • 900 ml of dry red wine
  • 4 tablespoons of freshly squeezed orange juice
  • 4 sticks of cinnamon
  • 12 cloves
  • 4 tablespoons of sugar
  • a little grated orange peel
  • 3 bags of Dolcela gelatin

Mix the gelatin with 12 tablespoons of cold water and let it swell for 10 minutes.
Heat the wine and other ingredients over low heat. When it boils, remove from the heat, strain the wine to remove cinnamon sticks and cloves then add the gelatin into wine.

Stir for two minutes or until the gelatin is completely dissolved and then fill the molds (these hearts are 150 ml in size).
When the wine in the molds has cooled, leave them in the fridge overnight.
Before serving, you can roll the hearts in granulated sugar.

Jelly prosecco in a glass

  • 2 bags of Dolcela gelatin
