Strawberry banana overnight chia pudding

The base of these puddings are homemade kefir and chia seeds. By combining these nutritious foods we are creating a meal which your whole body will enjoy.

This time I used milk kefir from OPG Mario Krog MILK bar. If you don’t have time or just don’t want to make your own kefir, then the kefir from the MILK bar is definitely your choice.

Chia seeds are a source of omega-3 fatty acids that improve brain function, lower blood cholesterol and prevent many heart diseases. Also, the body is supplied with proteins, vitamins A, B, E and D and minerals: calcium, potassium, copper, iron, manganese and zinc. You can find more about homemade kefir benefits on blog.

Ingredients and preparation

  • 30 g of chia seeds
  • 200 ml of homemade kefir
  • 1 banana
  • 200 g of strawberries

Combine kefir and chia seeds in a glass jar, close with a lid and place them in the refrigerator overnight.

Tomorrow, add sliced banana and strawberries to the pudding.

This quantity makes two servings.
