This simple dessert is a reminder that tasty and beautiful meal doesn’t have to be complicated, with 100 hours of preparation and dozens of different ingredients.
Also, this dessert is a reminder that sometimes life won’t go as planned.
I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but not all the photos have two glasses 🙂 main reason is that, I broke the other one while setting the photo scene. But there was no drama. I continued to take photos with the remaining glass and I can say that I love the result.
I’m wishing you that too in 2020!
I’m wishing you enjoyment in all that you do and when the “glasses are broken”, I’m wishing you to have time to heal, to cry, to be alone, to calm you soul with support of loved ones and when the time is right to create new enjoyments with fresh beginnings and hope!
At the end of this post you will find William Arthur Ward’s poem that nicely summarized my new year thoughts.
Enjoy!

“Another fresh new year is here
Another year to live!
To banish worry, doubt, and fear,
To love and laugh and give!
This bright new year is given me
To live each day with zest
To daily grow and try to be
My highest and my best!
I have the opportunity
Once more to right some wrongs,
To pray for peace, to plant a tree,
And sing more joyful songs!”
