When you can’t enjoy most of the store bought ice cream, you’ll always have frozen bananas in the freezer and homemade milk kefir!
Add a few more ingredients and you have ice cream deliciousness!
Ingredients and preparation steps
For purple ice cream
- 2 frozen bananas
- 3 handfuls of fresh or frozen blueberries
- 10 leaves of fresh basil
- 10 tablespoons homemade milk kefir
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder
For green ice cream
- 2 frozen bananas
- 1 ripe avocado
- juice of half a lime
- 1 teaspoon freshly grated ginger
Mix the ingredients separately. Both mixtures should be creamy. Pour them into separate bowls, cover the bowls and place in the freezer overnight. Remove 20 minutes before serving to allow the ice cream to “relax” a bit.
